Best Wedding Venues in Vaughan: A Photographer's Guide (2026)
Vaughan has quietly grown into one of the strongest wedding cities in the GTA. Here's where I keep returning, and the small details only a photographer notices.

As a Vaughan wedding photographer, I've spent more Saturdays here than almost any other city in Ontario. The banquet halls have grown beautifully over the last decade, and the variety now rivals downtown Toronto.

Le Jardin Conference & Event Venue

Le Jardin is one of Vaughan's most-loved estate-style venues. The grand entrance, the marble staircase, the chandeliered ballroom — everything photographs beautifully. Capacity tops out around 600 for seated dinners.

Premier Ballroom

Premier handles the kind of grand South Asian and Afghan weddings Vaughan is known for. The ballroom seats 1,000+ comfortably and the staff genuinely understands multi-event days.

Riviera Vaughan

A newer, modern venue with sleek architecture and excellent lighting. Great for couples who want a less ornate aesthetic but still want capacity and quality.

Bellagio Boutique Event Venue

Bellagio is the most "European" feeling room in Vaughan. Classical columns, marble floors, and a fountain in the lobby. For couples drawn to traditional luxury, it's hard to beat.

Universal EventSpace

Universal is one of the largest banquet venues in the GTA — over 100,000 sq ft. They handle weddings of 1,500+ guests and host some of the biggest South Asian weddings in Ontario.

How to Choose a Vaughan Venue

A few honest tips from years of photographing here:

Capacity Realism. Vaughan weddings often grow between booking and the day. Build a 15% buffer.

Light Walkthrough. Always have your photographer visit at the time your reception will run. Vaughan ballrooms often rely heavily on stage lighting.

Multi-Event Discounts. Many Vaughan halls offer better pricing for multi-day packages (mehndi + nikkah + walima).

Parking. With 800–1,500-guest weddings, valet timing matters. Ask directly how many vehicles can be processed per hour.

What Makes Vaughan Weddings Beautiful

The best Vaughan weddings I've photographed share three things — strong family involvement, a thoughtful timeline with buffer, and a photo + video team that knows the choreography.
