Mississauga sits between downtown Toronto and Brampton, and over the last decade it has quietly built up some of the most loved wedding venues in Ontario. As a Mississauga wedding photographer, I've spent more wedding Saturdays here than I can count. This is my honest local guide.
Paradise Banquet & Convention Centre
Paradise is one of Mississauga's largest banquet venues, with grand ballrooms accommodating 1,400+. Beautifully decorated chandeliers, expansive dance floors, and stage configurations that adapt to nikkahs, sangeets, and walima receptions. The crystal foyer photographs gorgeously.
Mississauga Convention Centre
A modern, purpose-built convention venue with cinema-grade lighting infrastructure. The flexibility here is unmatched — couples can host an intimate engagement upstairs and a 1,000-guest reception downstairs the same weekend.
The Riviera Parque
The Riviera offers an old-world ballroom feel with grand staircases and ornate ceilings. It's a favourite among couples who love a more "destination wedding" atmosphere inside the GTA.
Glenerin Inn & Spa
For smaller, intimate weddings (60–120 guests), Glenerin Inn is one of the most picturesque venues in Mississauga. Stone walls, fireplaces, and beautifully landscaped gardens for outdoor ceremonies.
Edgewater Manor
Edgewater sits on Lake Ontario near Hamilton — technically just outside Mississauga but worth including. The lakefront ceremony space is breathtaking at sunset.
La Banquets
La Banquets handles large multi-cultural weddings beautifully — the staff is experienced with Afghan, South Asian, Sikh, and Christian weddings under one roof.
Wedding Photography Tips for Mississauga Venues
Light Walkthrough
Always have your photographer visit your Mississauga venue at the time your ceremony will happen. Lighting is the single biggest variable.
Outdoor Backup
Many Mississauga venues offer outdoor ceremony options. Get the rain backup plan documented before you sign.
Multi-Day Pricing
If you're planning multiple events (mehndi, nikkah, walima), Mississauga venues often offer better multi-event pricing than downtown Toronto.
