Markham sits at the intersection of suburban calm and cultural diversity. Its venues span golf clubs, banquet halls, and modern event spaces — and the variety is one of the reasons I love photographing here.
Angus Glen Golf Club
Angus Glen is one of the most photographed wedding venues in York Region. Outdoor ceremony gazebos, manicured grounds, and a clubhouse with floor-to-ceiling windows that flood with afternoon light.
Bayview Golf & Country Club
Bayview offers a slightly more intimate feel. The veranda overlooks the golf course at sunset — one of the most beautiful portrait spots in the area.
Premiere Banquet Hall
For multi-cultural weddings of 500+, Premiere is a go-to. Generous stage space, flexible décor packages, and staff experienced with South Asian, Afghan, Sikh, and Chinese celebrations.
Markham Convention Centre
A modern, purpose-built venue with cinema-grade lighting and acoustics. Excellent for receptions where production matters.
